We’re looking for an Office Manager for our design studio based in Bristol. This is a key role where you will provide all aspects of administrative support to the business, including office, sales and basic PA duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the studio and front of house function. 

Who are we?

We design contemporary and art led gifts and cards at our Bristol based studio, collaborating with the brightest and best artists, illustrators and photographers from across the globe.  We supply some of the top retail shops in the UK – Paperchase, Scribbler and The Tate Modern to name but a few.

The role

This role will keep you incredibly busy, and truly is a role that involves wearing lots of different hats.

In a nutshell – you’ll be responsible for all aspects of sales admin, facilities management and general office administration.  The ‘Captain of the Ship’ stuff.  The things we can’t function without.  Things like sales order processing, customer service, generalist HR and facilities administration, ensuring that everything from the computer equipment to the office plants are monitored and well looked after.  

As well as taking care of the office you’ll offer basic PA support to the Managing Director, and be responsible for business interests outside of UStudio, such as tenants and property.

You will also support the Managing Director to project manage our attendance at UK and International trade shows as well as supporting the UStudio shop when required with administrative matters.

Who you’ll be?

If you have experience in the retail sector, particularly if it’s in cards and gifts, we’d be really interested!  But that isn’t essential.  We’d love to see an experienced Office Manager, or someone with a wide range of office skills and administrative experience.  Maybe in your last (or current) role your nickname is ‘The Oracle’.  If that resonated, this is the role for you.
