Swimming Pool and Spa Technician
Rock Pools & Spas are growing, and to support that growth we’re hiring a Swimming Pool and Spa Technician based in Westbury, but predominantly working on client sites. You’ll be servicing and maintaining high quality wet facilities including swimming pools, spa pools, hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas to a discerning private and commercial customer base.

Established for over 6 years, we offer a high-quality maintenance services for all wet leisure facilities, ranging from swimming pools and hot tubs to hydrotherapy spas. We have an impressive customer base in the luxury sector which includes both private and commercial clients.
We are expanding and in order to offer the impeccable standard of service our customers expect we’re hiring a Swimming Pool and Spa Technician, to work alongside the Director and Founder of the business.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be visiting private and commercial clients to service and maintain a range of high-quality hot tubs, spas, swimming pools and other leisure facilities. No two days will ever be the same, one day you could be visiting a private client to clean and service their hot tub, undertaking basic repairs and replacements. The next day could see you visiting a luxury spa facility to test the water and calibrate equipment, ensuring optimum levels are maintained.
You’ll be responsible for ordering equipment, products and chemicals to ensure our stocks remain at the right level to service our customers’ needs, and we’ll look to you to make sure that after every job you complete and file the correct paperwork
Who you’ll be?
Ideally, you’ll have first-hand experience of working in a leisure environment such as a swimming pool, leisure centre or spa, and understand the basics of testing and treating water. Your meticulous attention to detail will mean that you quickly and naturally identify and solve problems to the highest standards.
Equally, you might have recently completed education or training within a relevant qualification, and would love the opportunity to gain practical experience, whilst developing your career in a high growth, luxury business.
You can cope with the physical demands of the role, unloading trailers and taking a practical approach to installations and equipment replacements. You’ll be in your element troubleshooting and solving problems, all with the customer experience in mind. An excellent communicator, presentable and personable.
As the role involves constant (predominantly local) travel, you will need a clean driving license, and alongside this, due to the nature of the premises we service you will need either an up to date DBS check, or be happy for us to apply for one on your behalf.

The core working hours are 6am – 3pm Monday to Friday, however there will be a need for some flexibility evenings and weekends, based on the needs of our commercial clients and their opening hours.
