Sweet Construct are growing, and to drive that growth we’re hiring a Site Manager with a n extensive background in housing and residential construction to work on a large residential  (social and private housing) project in central Bristol.

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be managing the implementation of the project to the highest quality whilst maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management, ensuring that the clients exacting standards are met. 

You will form part of a team on a large project with a value circa £27m, delivering the project as a valued member of a successful team with clear objectives, ensuring you achieve a common goal. 

We’ll expect you to produce and develop project programmes and control operations, confidently leading and motivating your direct reports and the workforce team, providing clear direction and resolving queries to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget. 

Leading by example you’ll seamlessly establish standards of quality on site and ensure the timely delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirements. 

Who you’ll be? 

You’ll have previous housing experience in similar role, and naturally, you’ll have the ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications, conveying them to the team. 

A strong communicator, you will be adept at managing customer and team relations, ensuring the appropriate site image is adhered to in order to maintain the integrity of the business. 

You’ll have strong organisation skills, managing the works and supply chain ensuring you create and nurture the right working environment to maximise on time and efficiency.
