Sweet Construct are growing, and to drive that growth we’re hiring a Site Manager with an extensive background in refurbishment and technical temporary works for a Bristol based project.

What you’ll be doing  

You’ll be managing the implementation of the project to the highest quality whilst maintaining excellent standards of health, safety and environmental management, ensuring that the clients exacting standards are met.  

You’ll be organising and chairing the daily activity briefings (DAB), Short interval control (SIC) and collaborative planning sessions to ensure the team stays on project, on plan and on budget. 

We’ll be looking to you to produce and develop project programmes and control operations, confidently leading and motivating your direct reports and the workforce team, providing clear direction and resolving queries to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.  

Leading by example you’ll seamlessly establish standards of quality on site and ensure the timely delivery of a quality build in accordance with the project specifications and project requirements.  

Who you’ll be?  

You’ll have extensive experience in refurbishment and technical temporary works, alongside experience of managing large, high value projects. 

You’ll have an up to date appropriate CSCS card, SMSTS, first aid at work certificate, a valid driving license and a minimum of NVQ Level 4 (HNC/NVQ4 etc) or time served equivalent.  In addition, to be considered for the role, UKATA asbestos awareness training is essential. 

A strong communicator, you'll be great at managing customer and team relations, ensuring the appropriate site image is adhered to in order to maintain the integrity of the business.
