Due to extensive business growth we’ve got an opportunity for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) breakdown engineer to join the team, based in the Gloucester HQ, but travelling to jobs across Bristol and Gloucester.  We are happy to consider candidates on either an employed or sub-contracted basis.

What you’ll be doing.

Crucially, a key element of this role will be to carry out fault finding and first-time fixes.

As an integral part of the wider field team, you’ll be accountable for carrying out diagnostics and fault finding as well as routine servicing and commissioning.  This is a busy role, travelling across the South West, and we’ll be looking to you to safely and efficiently, maintain and repair water chillers and heat pumps for a variety of residential clients.

You’ll also be required to assist with commissioning of mechanical and electrical installations, alongside maintaining documentation relating to system maintenance records, preparing accurate and detailed service reports and understanding and completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.

Who you’ll be?

You’ll have strong previous experience with breakdown call outs, and specifically you’ll be experienced in heatpump breakdowns.

You’ll be skilled and qualified in the following; Unvented hot water, F-gas registered, installation (retro fit), Daikin altherma, Mitsubishi Eco Dan and Dimplex heat pumps, electrical competence, GAS SAFE registered.

You’ll also have a full driving licence, as well as excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to use computerised systems and demonstrable experience of working in a customer facing role.
