Kerr Office Group is growing, and to support that growth we’re hiring a Project Administrator working from our Swindon office to support our projects team.
Who are we?
Kerr Office Group are forward thinking, high end commercial interior design and build specialists. We’re ambitious and we’re growing. We’re renowned for designing and creating commercial spaces with the wow factor. Inspirational and successful workspaces and environments for our clients - an impressive roster of well-known household names. All of our work is undertaken to the highest standard, and our people embody our passion for perfection. You’ll never hear us say ‘that’ll do’ and our top quality craftsmanship and aftercare translate to an unrivalled client retention rate.
What you’ll be doing.
In a nutshell, you’ll be looking after our projects team to ensure they have everything they need, when they need it. Everything from general project admin, coordinating the teams’ travel, communicating with subcontractors and suppliers to support our teams’ on and off site and enabling our project teams to do what they do best – build incredible workspaces.
We encourage the team to roll up their sleeves and get involved. It’s all hands on deck when there’s a tender involved, and sometimes this might mean being flexible on standard working hours occasionally – and we can of course offer the same flexibility in return.
In addition, around half of your time will be spent administrating and supporting the procurement and buying processes, as part of wider project work.
Who you’ll be?
You’ll have previously worked in a fast-paced office environment within construction, and any experience you have in the Design & Build industry will be a bonus – especially if you were involved in procurement or buying processes. You’ll be meticulous, extremely well organised, always two steps ahead and have an incredible eye for detail – nothing gets past you. You’ll be a whizz with IT systems and understand the need to be adaptable as and when project requirements change. Your excellent communication skills mean that no detail gets overlooked, and you’ll quickly become the lynchpin of this integral team.
What’s in it for you?
We have serious plans for rapid growth and success, and we need a team behind us who share our drive and passion. This is the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing and industry leading business in the commercial interiors sector.
You might have already guessed - but our offices are swanky too. No sitting in a dark portacabin with a view of the car park if you stand on a table to look out the portholes. Fresh fruit every day and a coffee machine that grinds from beans. We work 8am - 4pm in the office, but we hope that you’d be flexible if we needed you to be - and we’ll do the same in return.
Finally, we can offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience.
If this sounds like you, apply with a CV and a one page covering letter to explain why you are perfect for the role.
