As Misty Copeland once said “Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you”

At SustainIt our passion is making data meaningful so we can drive positive change in the world! Our family business – now in its second generation – is built on positivity, collaboration, respect and an independent spirit, which lay the foundation for every project and working relationship.  To help us continue our growth we are looking for a Sales Support Administrator to come and join our happy team!

Not only do we offer a salary of up to £24,000 with a commission scheme, there’s flexible working hours (the role is full time 37.5 hours a week) and location (Homeworking/central Bristol office), 22 days holiday plus 1 day off for your birthday! Additional day of annual leave per each completed year of service (up to 3 additional days), Cycle to work scheme(that also include e-bikes) with annual bicycle service at the office, pension contribution and as if that wasn’t enough, we have frothy coffee mornings, team lunches and a monthly quiz!  All this while working for a family run company who really care, not just about seriously important stuff like sustainability and the environment, but you, your personal development opportunities and your value to them – amazing right?

This is a new role and so a chance to carve your own niche with us and make this job your own.  You’ll be be involved in the day-to-day running of the client accounts, writing and distributing proposals and statement of works and managing small projects as part of the wider client programme.  While you’re conducting research relating to client’s business within the sustainability, data and tech industry, you’ll be able to begin to build relationships with current clients alongside the account manager.  You’ll get plenty of opportunity to earn commission whilst prospecting, identifying and generating new opportunities to build a pipeline of sales.

You’ll be assisting the marketing team in co-ordinating events e.g. press releases, blog articles, podcasts, conferences etc – and may be required to lead the co-ordination of small events.  There’ll be the usual outbound calls, emails, social selling and sales demonstrations so you can really tap into your inner Lorraine Kelly!

So what skills does the lucky person need to possess in order to get this awesome job?  Well, you have an outstanding background in sales administration with a proven track record of resilience, tenacity, creativity and darn dogged persistence! You just love people and have a good understanding of consultative selling (we will ask you about this and your understanding of the power of data).  A first-class administrator you shudder at the thought of spelling mistakes and your methodical and organised approach to your work and correspondence, both written and verbal speaks for itself.

A good all-rounder, you’re not precious about helping out other members of the team when they need you and this has made your customer service skills legendary! You have strong views on the importance of sustainability and how we can all make a difference in the fight for our planet.
